When the CS3 servers were switched off, Adobe provided activation-free installers in a more complicated way, requiring purchasers to input their original licence keys and receive new keys and installers in return. The last time I tried it, there were problems, though I didn't really pursue it. Whether it will work on a current version of Windows is another question.
